Consider the University ranking and grade. Academic reputation, alumni success rate, research scholars cited, all these criteria together make up the University ranking.
Find out the tuition fees of the university. You also need to inquire about the accommodation cost and facilities. You can avail of scholarships for Indian students studying abroad.
Check the medium of instruction and your proficiency level in the language spoken on the campus.
Consider the food available in the canteen and the number of Indian students on the campus.
Take into account post-study work opportunities in the chosen country and job opportunities after you finish the course.

Eligibility for studying abroad for Indian students

The basic eligibility for most courses is as follows:

Qualifying language proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL, etc.
Passing the General Tests including GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc. as required by the university

STEPPreparation of Entrance Tests

Read the official website of the university or country to understand the admission process and proceed accordingly.

Register for the appropriate tests and prepare for these tests.

If you don't clear the test on the first go, you can always reappear and get your desired grades.

STEPFill Application Form

After clearing tests and choosing universities, it's time to apply.

Fill in the application form with photos and required documents. Make sure to fill in your essential details without any mistakes/discrepancies.

Submit scanned copies of 10th & 12th Mark sheets.

Submit the appropriate score cards on the official website.

Upload scanned copies of the prior highest qualification academic records. For example, for a master's degree abroad, one needs to upload the academic transcripts of the undergraduate degree.

Scan and submit a copy of Aadhaar Card & Passport. (if available)

STEPAdmission Letter by University

STEPVisa Application

Once admission is confirmed, it's time to present the invitation letter from the university for the visa application.

Submit a scanned copy of valid passport and invitation letter to apply for the student visa.

STEPVisa stamping & Documentation

After receiving the official invitation letter, we proceed for Visa Stamping wherein visa is endorsed within the passport of the applicant.

Applicants need to submit original documents (10th & 12th Mark sheet) for legalization

Submit HIV/Medical Certificate

Submit a partial or full fee of the first semester as asked by the University guidelines.
